It was originally built by a German Baroness and then was left to its own devices for many years until Claudia and Jim saw it and restored it to its former glory in 1999. They had to get everything around to the villa by boat. All the builders had a winch everything to get all the building materials up to the decaying villa. Claudia arrives tomorrow so that will so exciting to see her after 9 years. Jim unfortunately is touring with Queen in the States and we probably won't see him until we go to the last night of the 'Monty Python reunion' at the 02 Arena on the 20th July.
