We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

... I struck up a conversation with two cute girls. They were at the tail end of their own Aegean expedition. Mykonos (party island), Santorini (tourist island), and some other one I can't recall. Standard stuff, but then what do you expect from two Canadian college girls with interestingly painted toenails? ... I had leveled up, and all these places were unlocked! So I celebrated with a Korca!

The following day began with a small voluntary shift of 'Tourist Info Officer' , so after informing 2 lots of tourists about bus times (very difficult in Albania because there aren't any!) we took the opportunity to relax on the beach at Ksamil. Then we had a lunch. And I mean a proper lunch. Not some random mix I threw together based on the 3 cheapest edible things that Conad had ...

... people watch. I am watched earnestly as there are few tourists in town. I walk some other streets and come across a middle aged brother in a wheelchair offering tracts. I say hello, mention I am from Australia and show him the mags on my tablet. He does not speak English, we pass a friendly few moments and I give his hand a good shake. Faith strengthening to see these ones doing what they can.

After a long walk it is 3.30 and I am in ...
