Flying IAD-NRT
... I got one of only three window suites! (There’s actually four window suites, but one is reserved for pilot rest on flights of 12 hours or more.) Absolutely fabulous. This is my first time flying in a window suite on the renovated Boeing 777, and my second total flight in First since the planes were renovated. My last time, NRT-SFO en route home from the Philippines in April, I was in a center suite (2H).

Lost in translation
... dagar man ser en isbjörn, elefanter, en tiger, krokodiler och förstås pandor. Vi ser säkert hundra olika djur i alla möjliga färger och former, de är alla vackra och tankeväckande. Naturen är inte densamma på armlängd som jag sett på Animal planet i datorn hemma och jag är nog glad att jag gjorde det, så jag har sett det hela och kan nöja mig så, resten får jag jaga i naturen.

... sure later that it was.) Interestingly, it was the second time to see Mt. Fuji on the day, because I had seen it at Shin-Fuji from the Shinkansen on my way to Tokyo. Mt. Fuji is about 100 kilometers away from the central Tokyo, so it seems there are some places where you can see Mt. Fuji from the city. Anyway, I was totally satisfied with the view of Mt. Fuji at sunset from the building and nicely left Tokyo.
