Had great sleep last night. Still woke early, 5am but stayed dozing till 6. Down for breakfast a bit earlier than yesterday and during that hit by a fairly heavy tropical storm, pelting rain, thunder and lightning. Plan B had to be invoked and we headed off (the rain had lessened to fine drizzle) to catch the on/off bus to do a lap of the city in air conned comfort. They certainly talk very loudly (because they live in such crowded cities, one English lady remarked.). It took almost an hour to get processed and through immigration and into our cabin where a bottle of French champagne awaited! Warm welcome aboard by crew ...

Singapore Aquarium

... costs something. They have built a cable car to get to the 'island' and it only costs $28 bucks - or you can walk 700M and gain entry to the island for a dollar. To get to the aquarium you needed to walk through an exhibition that talked about the silk route that boats used to take as trade started to take off. There were details about Vietnam and India and lots of informative stuff. We then found ourselves in front of an interactive ...
