Today we took the subway out of the city to Schonbrunn Palace and did the grand tour of forty rooms. We had a "moment" in the parlor where Mozart performed for the royalty when he was six, and we explored the rest of the summer palace. We then caught the end of noon mass at St Stephen's cathedral and toured the inside nave and ...

Monday 25 Aug 14 - Travelling day. A beautiful day to be flying. Took a water taxi to the airport - no problems this time with the driver. It is an easy transfer from the dock to the airport, under cover with luggage trolleys available and only about 10 minutes walking

About an hour late departing due to late arrival of aircraft but the flight to Venice in a Dash 8 aircraft was ...

... even through their choice in cutlery. Room after room of gold and silver flatware began to augment the very concept of wealth. Table mirrors and serving ornaments stretched across tables longer than my apartment. I don’t think I had ever seen any pure gold silverware before, and here they were lining the very walls! It was impressive to say the least.

After the silver collection, I walked over to the treasury for my second dose of ...
