... vistas. Monaco and Cannes were overrated- we much preferred the smaller seaside villages of Eze and Villefranche Sur Mer - and Juan les pins (that's where we went to, my lovely!) Lowlight was Diane and I got stuck in a lift ( and they're tiny) but I managed to force the door open thank god! So now it's party time in Sitges- next stop Berlin! (I've already taken ...

... the skyline in town and onto a pedestrian street lined with high end shops, restaurants and tourist souvenir shops. It was about a 1/2 hour walk to our hotel- after having done it, we realized we probably should have taken the metro but at least it wasn't raining. This gave us the opportunity to have great views overlooking all Vienna in a rotating restaurant, while enjoying a very delicious dinner with great desserts, at quite a reasonable price. The Danube Tower is in a large urban island park (Donaupark) which adjoins the Vienna International Centre and the Austria Centre. The ...

We visited the Volksprater Funfiar today. It is home to one of the oldest ferris wheels. Built in 1896, it is very popular landmark. The area around it is an amusment park, was orginally the imperial hunting grounds. We also ate the the famouse Schnitzel Haus and ate wiener schnitzel of course.

Oh and we can now say we have felt an earthquake. Small one 4.2, but interesting when are in an apartment building.
