    ... some of her land today, she knew all kinds of trees and plants, and it was very fascinating as she pointed them out to us.
    Another great part about this farm is the strawberry patch. The strawberries grow so thick and are so unbelievably sweet! There are times between lunch and supper that Rachel and I get a bit hungry and sneak on over to the strawberry patch. We george ourselves with strawberries and contentedly and innocently return to the house. Maybe not so innocently... ...

    ... speak English, Dutch, German and French, an amazing accomplishment, and something I greatly admire. I am enjoying learning about Dutch culture, and am surprised sometimes at how much I already know because of my Dutch sub-culture back at home. Although at home I feel very Dutch, out here I am quite Canadian. I am learning a few words of Dutch, but it is kind of difficult because everyone here speaks English.
