Zurich
... Not something I would normally get excited about, but it is Zurich.
Lisa and I then walked through yet another Christmas market to the Opera House to check it out and see if there was anything on that night. As it turned out, there was an opera on, and the lady told us that if we came back at 7 (half an hour before showtime) we could get student tickets in the remaining seats for only 20 Fr.

Lucerne

Late in the night there was a welcoming party for us, which was cool, but everyone ended up ditched it after a bit to go to ...
Chocolates, watches and sunshine
Well we made it! The first big retirement holiday trip that everyone looks forward to. It seems after months in the planning we finally got here. Long flights. An hour to Melbourne, then 9 plus hours to Hong Kong w/ about 45 minutes to race across Hong Kong airport to catch a 13 hour flight to Zurich. It took an hour to get out of the "chair" position our bodies molded into.
We then found the Travelex to get some Swiss Francs for a couple days ...
