Around 630 I headed back to the campsite for dinner at 7 and joined up with the others who I went hiking with for dinner. ... the Assistant Photographer, and this was a “shoot” for a travel centre. The train was called The Red Arrow and apparently had been ridden by Winston Churchill.

I found out later that this was a scheduled excursion, and perhaps they just decided to photograph this particular one for the brochures. According to a website I checked, “The next one is scheduled for 30th September and is for a “Swedish Breakfast”, from 10.13 ...

Another great day being a couple of observers in the European world. We left Lucerne on the 0812 steam paddle wheeler for a short ride to the village of Weggis. A fairly steep 15 minute walk which had us sweating, landed us at the base of the Rigi Bahn Cable car. Our first cable car which is like a oversized gondola and stands around 40-50 people. It is also a much steeper ride up then a ski lift would be and sways eerily when you pass one of the massive poles ...

... Le Relais de l'Entrecute. Le Ralais de l'Entrecute is famous for it's steak-frites (steak-and-chips) dish. It is in fact Le Ralais de l'Entrecute is from Paris, and has two other locations there, one in the 6th arrondissement, off the boulevard Saint-Germain, and the other in the 8th arrondissement, about four blocks off the Champs-Élysées. After dinner i had a relax walk back to my hotel before bed adriming Switzerland and all the wonderful places ahead.
