... down and down into a deep black void and finally lost consciousness. When he came to, with a painful swelling on his forehead, the sun was already high in the heavens. But all he could see was a tiny glimpse of blue sky. He was trapped in a cave deep inside the mountain!
The opening through which the daylight was shining was far, far above his head. Oh no, what could that be? He peered deeper into the darkness of the cave and his blood froze in his veins! Two ...

Another great day being a couple of observers in the European world. We left Lucerne on the 0812 steam paddle wheeler for a short ride to the village of Weggis. Today we explored Luzern, what lovely old buildings. We walked over the famous Kappel brucke bridge, that had burnt down in 1993 but was restored. We had a little touristy train ride on a train that is built for the road, it took us around all the old parts and explained what they were and took us to see the dieing lion scuplture which was carved in memory of the Swiss soldiers.

Beautiful and busy as it was about 7:30 am.
We then had to find the correct street. The names of the streets ...

Day 56 – Sunday 20th June

Today we didn't absolutely nothing – a rest day. Although I still feel really tired. It poured and poured and poured so we spent most of the day inside on the internet. Ashley spoke to Gareth, Grandma Cleland and we organised to go and see Thomas, who is living in Basel, probably at the end of the week, depending on how we get on.

There wasn't a lot of point in ...
