... scary. We enjoyed a lovely antipasto lunch that we had bought the night before along with some local delicacies forms of meats that Christianne had brought, not to forget the chocolate, which I have confirmed with the French is lovely wrapped in bread. We then caught the cog train back down the mountain. On the way back on the ferry I met a guy wearing an Australian cricket wind heater, I asked him about it but it seems that he had bought it from the queen ...

It is also a much steeper ride up then a ski lift would be and sways eerily when you pass one of the massive poles ...

We enjoyed a delicious lunch along the water and headed back to the hotel by 6.30pm. We decided to get a bit creative for dinner and got a hot chicken from the supermarket, buns, little sachets of sauces, lettuce and enjoyed a picnic in the park. Tomorrow a little more excitement, white water ...

Day two in Switzerland began with a trip to The Lion Monument. We weren't too sure what the monument was for and weren’t expecting to be amazed. But when we got there, words could not express the beauty of the monument. The monument was commissioned in remembrance of 800 Swiss Guards who died while protecting a King of France many years ago. It is our most favourite monument so far. An interesting fact about the monument made us chuckle. Apparently the artist who was ...
