      ... of the Alps just
keep getting bigger and bigger and are just beautiful.
Finally I arrive into the town of Tarvisio and decide if there is a hotel
available then I will stay here as its just not worth riding in the dark. Sure
enough there are a few hotels and strangely enough the one I chose had a sign
      outside saying "Bikers Welcome".
Booked in and bike parked safely in the garage it was time to relax and
think of my route through the Alps.

... Austria with floods and snow causing transport chaos so we cannot complain. Today we tested out Mary's boots and walked the 4 km to Millstatt to access the wifi in a cafe where we had lovely goulash soup for lunch. Only problem was the smokers in the room but we had no choice. Today, Friday we caught the bus to Seeboden, the next village past Millstatt. We used the wifi at the Tourist bureau. It had stopped raining but started again after we got back for lunch. Had ...

I guess he is a diva packer just like Ryan. Ryan says it is because his clothes are bigger than mine so they take up more room. But the truth is he just likes to have lots of options. After chatting with them we exchanged emails and have invitations to house ...

So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!

      As some ...

Today we farewell Salzburg! Our plans were clear and simple. Leave our hotel by taxi to train station. Catch train at 10.12am to Villach . Once in Villach alight and take the bus to Venice. Simple! Not so simple if you miss the name of the station you are supposed to get off and just sit there chatting! Suddenly, as the train is pulling out from the station....Sheree said..Oh, aren't we supposed to get off at Villach! Look around for Tanya and Tony....they have ...
