This is a little town on the west coast of Cebu. Most tourists go there for the scuba diving. We went there just because we wanted to rest for a week, and be in a place where we could swim in the clean ocean again. We stayed at a beach area called Pangsama Beach, about 6 km from Moalboal. As it turned out our room looked out to sea, which was lovely. It is very hot here, but lovely sitting under the shade of the big trees in the sea breeze, or having a dip in the pool. Mark wasn't able ...

And what a busy one! Too busy to write the laSt entry so here we are in Malaysia on our stop over. We were having lunch with Rob and Marg at 12.30 at David Toutain and I had to swing by and pick up my dress which was having the hem taken up. Well you know the saying keep the best to last, well we certainly did. Sensational food. The best meal we had this trip and I will be making a booking for October. Lovely glass of rose champagne ...

Follow that bus!

... 4.5 hour bus ride from KL and it was too late to book a bus. So next morning I wake up early and the hostel manages to book me onto the 8.30am bus. Perfect I thought; I would arrive in KL in plenty of time to find a locker for my bag and figure out how to get to the centre. So 8:30am comes around and I'm standing by the hostel sign on the side of the road waiting for the bus. 8:40 comes, no bus. 8:50, ditto. I'm not too worried though; buses in Malaysia sometimes ...
