... with a demonstration and samples, samples, samples (can there ever be enough chocolate??).

After that chocolate, of course, we needed some lunch, so we found a wonderful restaurant on Burg Square where we sat outside and marveled at several medieval buildings – watched tourists and Belgium school children (doing research) - as we enjoyed a Flemish lunch (yes, the stew ...

We then strolled through the streets with our waffles and map in hand to find the Half Maan brewery, of which we then went on a tour round. Rowan the tour guide was very funny, making it a really great experience and afterwards we were ...

Having barely seen the River Rhine from here, we walked down to the waterfront half expecting to see a busy commercial area however it was not to be. The river almost seemed to pass through Bonn without really stopping as it were. With only museums to occupy us if we chose, we decided to depart early giving us time for an unplanned visit to Brugge, one of the very few towns on our 'must visit again' list. Our ...
