... I gave the afternoon sermon. There was no sermonette scheduled so that there would be plenty of time to update the brethren on the Work of God in other parts of the world. After services and a few hours of fellowshipping, we headed off to dinner. We were able to have the pleasure of spending the evening with Mr. & Mrs. Siopan and Mr. & Mrs. Sisson. ... Bacolod with the pastor of this region, Mr. Florante Siopan (pronounced Show-pahn) and his wife Lina. They are delightful people as well as being dedicated and faithful servants of God and His church. We stayed two nights, giving us a chance to recover from the travel day and do ...

... bats hanging on to the sign just chilling and squawking away and you could actually handle them and pet them and they wouldn't bite! They were incredible and very cute with their bulging eyes and tiny snouts making crazy noises. We could have hung around here for a while, but of course we wanted to check out some waterfalls and, accompanied by a guide, we headed up the many steps pausing on the way to walk along the canopy walk in the trees that gave us a bats eye view of the path ...
