      ... first eaten in Melbourne at a Swiss restaurant many years ago - Emince de Veau Zurichoise mit Roesti, which is sliced veal with mushrooms in a delicious sauce with Roesti potatoes. It was absolutely lovely, although quite expensive, as we soon learned, everything in Switzerland was. We finished off sharing some chocolate mousse and then headed to our rooms for an early night before our big mountain outing the next day.

      ... the only difference being how long it was matured. The cheese that was matured for 18 months was soft and had a milky taste. The cheese that was matured for 3 years was harder with a stronger taste (and was much nicer). The dairy owner explained the cheese making process.       ... sunk into it. Felt different to what I thought- more like sticky crushed ice than powder. We played in it a bit and attempted a snow angel but snow went down our pants- it was freezing!       ... to Vienna. The ride through the Alps was spectacular! The scenery was unbelievable with the beautiful jagged peaks of the mountains. In some areas in the middle of the Alps, we saw snow that was at least 1.5-2 feet deep and we were only in the valleys!

      I was so happy I took the train to Vienna instead of flying after I saw the scenery. If you ever are in Switzerland, make sure to see the Alps - it's well worth ...
