The first day started from JFK to Zurich, with a train ride ending up in Lucerne. As I write, I'm not sure if my brain is working as there wasn't but maybe an hour of sleep. Bill was able to get more sleep on the plane, so we have at least one mostly functioning brain between the two of us. I feel asleep on train for about 3 minutes, wish I could have done that on the plane in the lay flat seat.

Very busy and crowded along Reuss River (Rathausquai) with many outdoor tables full of people. Great place to drink, snack, eat and people watch.
And there's swans! Lots of them! So majestic! I've never seen them live like this and those buggers are huge - Canada Goose size.

After Oslo I flew to Zurich, where I stayed with an old friend, Trav. Technically he lives in Baden, but it's very close to Zurich. Similar to Oslo, I spent most days sightseeing in Zurich and most nights at BBQs or parties with Trav's mates. Really enjoyed Baden and Zurich; they're both beautiful and peaceful.
