We have arrived in Steyr to stay for 1 night. It's really nice here - I wish we could be staying here for longer! The town centre is sort of a mix between Bad Ischl and Graz - busy but not commercialised. The hotel is really nice as well... About a 5 minute walk through a maze to our rooms though! Just when you think you are in the right corridor, there's another staircase! Now we are currently driving 2 hours back to Vienna for our last 3 nights before leaving on ...

... lots to tell, so staying awake was not a problem until 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Then we fell asleep, woke up at 2 o'clock at night and kept on with that sleeping rythm for the following 14 days. O my! I even fell asleep after having been home for a week already at a friend's place in the middle of a card ...

... back after closing to put on for us. With the language barrier Ben haggled the tyre price down, thinking it was for two but only after they started fitting them on, we found out the price was for all four, so we really did get a great deal. With them being so helpful we dished out some chocolates, spreading Christmas cheer! Now we are parked up in a shops under cover parking hoping this may reduce the cold slightly! Fingers crossed security aren't going to move us on...

We have arrived in Gmunden for a brief stay of 3 nights. The hotel is really nice - great breakfast buffet! AND WIFI!! Yey! Not much to report here really. Went to the Salzburg Zoo on Tuesday. Saw a lion, a rhino and lots of goats. Off to Bad Ischl on Thursday for 4 nights to stay at the Goldenes ...

An unique but super tiring experience-Ice caves

... without the cable car trip to the 5 fingers first. We were assigned a timing and had around 30 minutes before the tour started. We had to walk to the entrance of the ice cave from the cable car station. It was a rather tiring walk of 20 minutes up the steep slopes for the unfit me.
