... the parking area. One of them was a parking spot that was reserved only for families, and another one that was specifically only for women drivers. Simon told me this was because in dark parking garages, it can be a little sketchy, so it's better for women to have a parking spot closer to the exit. It's the small differences in every place that make each city I visit so interesting.

We made it to Frankfurt! Happy New Year to everyone as well!! The flight was a little crazy. Fully booked to the point where once they loaded the luggage they had to recalibrate everything as the load was too heavy! Then we hit some crazy turbulence! Roller coaster feeling in my tummy! I was getting a bit nervous as things were rattling everywhere and a cart even fell over! Definitely glad to be on solid ground. So ...

Once I got to Germany I had a hard time figuring out where to go and communication, but I managed to figure out a plan to make things work. The pay phone and lack of Wi-Fi/outlets was BEYOND frustrating but that's okay. The bathrooms are really sweet in Germany!
