We all slowly fell in love with Slovenia, camping in the pine trees, swimming in the lake and chilling amongst the mountains. ... on to Slovenia pretty quickly. And it was a great decision as we snaked our way through the mountains, the van coping admirably, with a new stunning vista around each corner. We headed to Bled and a campsite on the lake, but an avalanche of tourists for the Bled festival meant that it was completely full. In fact apart from the stunning location, the campsite didn't seem our bag anyway, so we went and found camping Sobec which was perfect, and it was time to chill and catch up on some ...
... and the beautiful Lake Bonhinj below us. We had a lot of fun trying out different fun poses from a couple of viewpoints. Unlike Bled, Bonhinj is in the middle of Triglavski National Park and therefore had much less development and much more nature surrounding it.

It's late afternoon when we arrive so we check out the opening times and enquire about camping nearby. We are directed to Langsee, a very popular swimming lake about 5km from the castle. It's time to break out the camping gear again.
