... magazines to play with and I made dinner for all. The day then got better (finally) with everyone hanging out in Sven trying to understand what we needed to do in the girls magazines and just relaxing for the first time today. The twins went to sleep like a dream (so much so that Paul is worried Leggy may not be well). Lil and roo also dropped off quickly. Yeah I thought early night, until Paul said 'Can you write the blog pls' so here it is (hope its not to moody).

I wasn't so keen as the first leg had taken quite a while and with the rain I thought maybe the girls might not be happy and once we had committed to go all the way around there were no shortcuts. As always Jess pushed us to do it and as (almost) always she was right to do so. Great way to spend anniversary. In Slovenia. Today it rained a lot. Still went for a 6 mile hike. And a lot of it was in pouring rain. Then went up a gondola to ski area. The sky cleared enough for photos. Wonderful day. Heading to Italy tomorrow. First Venice then to ...
Well I am writing the blog tonight as Paul is working (end of Tax quarter). I also have work to do but it is really hard to motivate yourself after a long day of driving, entertaining children, swimming in lakes and getting beds ready etc. Basically you are completely exhausted at the end of the day and you just want to relax (its the only 'me' time you ever get on this sort of adventure). Anyway back to our day... it started off badly with some very rude Austrians ...
... admire the beautiful river- especially where it went through a canyon- but then set off over the mountains up to a height of 1700metres or so. The vistas of the mountains was beautiful and the drive though winding, with 50 hairpin bends, was a pretty safe road.
At the top we found some snow and had to go for a walk through the snow. It couldn't be a Sorial summer holiday without some snow!!!
