Breaky, then straight outside while there is no rain! A run around the lake, stretching on the pier and a swing at the playground. Then we took the bikes out. It was cold, but the clouds started to clear. By 2pm it was clear blue sky, perfect time to stop for a picnic by the lake! We drove around to the next town, Krumpendorf, then wandered around the river and sat in the sunshine until the sun set. A very lovely day - we don't want the 100mm of rain forecast to ...

It didn't stop raining. All day. It eased a little around 1pm, just enough time for us to clean Percy. We had our Chocolate shop hot chocolates for afternoon tea. One was like raw cocoa, the other like eating porridge. Tempted?! Haha. But we enjoyed them nonetheless! Then around 4.30pm it ...

We made corn fritters for dinner then did some more online planning. The rain has started again, hopefully it stops by ...

... enjoyable detour we continued on our journey to Riegersburg. What an incredible castle! Built on the top of a 420m high dormant volcano, it's beautiful. We walked around the castle but decided not to look in. Next stop was Graz for a new bike tyre (Mats has completely worn through) then to Klagenfurt. The first campsite was closed but luckily we found another closer to town. We're parked under a chestnut tree!! The town is located right on a massive lake Wörthersee. Very ...

... after Mats expert navigation we popped out at an ice cream shop - very convenient! We stopped for a cone then continued back to Kitzeck. We got back at 4.45pm, just as the rain started. First we've had in a while, and unfortunately it's predicted to last the next 24hrs. It was a 70km ride and we barely passed a car the whole way on the beautiful back ...
