Well, we didn't get to Bremerhaven, either. The authorities thought that the high winds at the locks passing into the North Sea would make it too dangerous, so we found out last night after dinner that we'd be staying in Amsterdam until 3 PM, when we would then depart for Oslo.

No problem for us...I needed a day off to rest my weary bones after two 10K ...

... but the museum didn't offer access to anything new for her. We left Bremerhaven behind and headed toward Thüringen. That meant more crazy autobahn driving, but also really beautiful green scenery with lots of rolling hills and tall trees. We stopped in Mühlhausen to look around and have some dinner. We wandered into the Catholic Church and had a non-productive conversation with a German nun. ...

... a GPS. It's in German. We can't figure out how to change it to English or how to enter addresses. Not a problem because Aunt Marge borrowed a GPS from a friend. He was even nice enough to plug in the addresses of all the places we're staying. And THEN, the stupid GPS sent us 10 miles out of our way. I'm not sure what tiny little town we ended up in but it wasn't Bremerhaven. We finally wised up when it tried to take us down this tiny ...

... we met and then came back...not a lot to be said for this area except the Port and Shipping Canal was something to see but being on the A1, stopping to take pictures of massive container ships being load or unloaded as well as sailing under very high bridges may not the be the local Polizie's idea of sight seeing!

... sat drinking my free drinks before the inevitable dancing began. Whilst I had clearly matured since my Erasmus experience three years ago, there's still enough party animal in me to enjoy the night - as the dodgy nightclub photos showed.

The following day was a lazier day, with Ingo coming around to eat dinner with us before watching a film. The guys then had to go off for their class meeting at the ÖVB Arena in the city ...
