We have just come back from a lovely trip up to Lake Konigssee, and a boat trip down the lake to St Bartholoma. The lake is nestled between the mountains, and is 602m above sea level with an average depth of 150m. It is the cleanest lake in Germany, with the water being pure enough to be classified ...

As we walked into the aldstadt, the kids kept asking "are we going to the store are we going to the store" because they knew that's where I buy my Mozartkugeln but I told them I don't buy it ...

... After that we went and had a Salzburger knockel, a puffed egg meringue type with berry sauce underneath. Walked through the old city to wait to be picked back up. The others had a great time at Hitlers eagle nest at the top of the alps and they slid down a long slide like thing in the salt mines. We headed out of Salzburg for Fussin in the alps to see Neusweinstein castle where Disney copied the castle for Disneyland. Found a wonderful hotel, nearby and had dinner ...
