We were up early on the hunt for a cow bell, the one thing Cat wanted to buy as a souvenir. ... surprised by the hostel Kathryn randomly booked. More like a fancy hotel and we end up being the only 2 in our room with a private ensuite! Very good nights sleep. Lonely planet in hand, we venture through the streets of Salzburg in search of 'Old Town'. However we soon realise that the lonely planet map is not detailed enough and spend a good 30mins thinking we are on the opposite side to a mountain then we actually are. ... a tad excessive. I really did appreciate him helping me out so much and hey, we didnt kill each other!!! He also let me listen to a lot of my music while is mp3 player charged.
Just a warning: The blogs will definitely slow down now as the exciting adventure of 5 countries in 5 days has come to an end. However I will try my best to keep them going as often as I can!

... Alps on the horizon. On our way down, we made a pit stop by the abbey which was so famous in the Sound of Music and I even recognized several points where scenes were shot.
We ended the day by grabbing some Weiner Schnitzel at a local restaurant and finding a small Adoration Chapel, praying for a few minutes, then going to another empty church and singing the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Yet another incredible day in ...
... the next day another German exam, and on Friday, I leave for Italy. So, with a lot of positive self talk, and with a perspective of thankfulness, I will be just fine.
So to wrap it all up, I will leave you all with an interesting thought: the roosters here do not say "cock-a-doodle-doo" like our dear man chickens back home. Instead, they cry out, "Cick-a-ricki." So let that settle you all to sleep, or wake you up in the morning I suppose.
