    ... their pastures become ski runs. We got some use of the toboggan ride too and I'm sure we will go on it again and get some photos next time.     We got away at about 8:45 am this morning. The route we were planning to do was away from the lake and up into the foothills of the Alps. The weather was sunny, but windy and quite cold as we went up in elevation. We rode from Lindau back to Bregenz and from there headed inland. We had long climbs, and, with the wind, it was a challenging day for all of us.     Yesterday we rode from Konstanz to Lindau following the Bodensee trail along the lake. We were on the number 2 trail, which, for the most part, was well marked. Getting out of the city went smoothly and it was a beautiful sunny day. The trail was mainly a separate bike/pedestrian trail, but sometimes a separate bike lane on the roads.
