... Those who recall OHMSS, with George Lazenby as James Bond will recognise the Schiltorn as "Piz Gloria" as this is where the Alpine scenes where filmed. Spectacular! So what did we do today? We went to three different countries, yes just TODAY! :) Sarah and Martin took us on a three country tour of Germany, France, and Switzerland. We started in Switzerland of course, then went to Germany and had a great lunch at a cute little restaurant. We tried both French and German Cuisine, then had Gelato of course!

We left dark and early on a water taxi for the train station. It was 2 and a half hours to Milan and I slept half the way there. Milan to Basel was 4 hours and a beautiful ride. We rode past lake Como and planned the area as a stop for our next European vacation. It was gorgeous. We also rode passed the snow capped peaks of the Swiss Alps.
