Day 12: in Came the PoPo

We bussed from Berlin to Prague, stooping halfway at a dusty little tourist trap known as Dresden. It used to be an up and up city that was pretty much Hitler's wet dream till WWII when it was heavily bombed. I actually attached a pic of a post card to show how it was. It's crazy to think in only 80-ish years since the war that they've rebuilt as much as they have. It was cute, I saw animals and of course had to pet ...

3 Days of my Life in Berlin Can a place be chill and uptight at the same time? Creative and I unimaginative? Berlin is a bit like Two Face from Bat Man...or maybe she is your schitzo ex-girlfriend who was wicked hot and everything you could ask for, but when she forgot her meds she'd trip if you left a fork in the sink without wash it! One of my favorites places was the Pleasure Gardens ;). They are now just ...

      Day 214: To the airport!

A travel blog entry by adventurenonni on Feb 19, 2014

... the plane curved inwards toward the back, there wasn't enough room for a third seat next to the window like all of the other rows. This meant that my seat, which was closest to the window, had room next to it almost the size of another seat. Wooo hoooo! I could fit all my stuff next to me and spread out. Seeings I was at the back of the plane, I could also lean my seat right back without laying in anyone's lap. This was bliss. What made this seat even better was the ...

Day 212: a sad, sad day

A travel blog entry by adventurenonni on Feb 17, 2014

... s hard to say goodbye. Especially seeings we are not too sure when we will see each other again. Hopefully no longer than 4 months. I slept for a little while and then spent the rest of the day moping around listening to sad music and packing my things for India. It will be fine in a couple of days when I am on my way to chennai. It's just hard right now because I keep expecting Paul to walk out of the bathroom or come back from the shops or something like ...
