      ... to Melk along the Wachau Valley taking in the world heritage villages along the Danube. Seeing lots of vineyards in the steep sides of hills using rocks to make the terraces keeps the ground warm and aids growth (photo). Main product is Riesling, Guner Veltliner and Apricot Brandy.

      Started in the town of Melk. Austria , took bus to Melk Abby , about a 5 minute bus drive, then we on top of hill to explore a monk Melk Abby , about 2000 year old, walking tour about 1 hour, the tour was from 0900-1115, we came back to ship so I can go on a bike ride tour, 20 miles or so, Treena had a wonderful massage, , I did bike tour there was 29 of us on bike tour, the tour was very nice, but the bikes need some upgrades, the sits where very ...
