When we went back our washing wasn't dry yet so we put it in for longer and waited around some more. By the time it was done and we headed back we didn't have enough time for skiing so we postponed it for another day. On Saturday we went to the 'Red Bull hangar' because Ben really wanted to go and he wasn't feeling well enough to ski. It was pretty cool, there were planes and cars and a helicopter and even a jetpack. It was pretty ...

... off little blasts here and there. When midnight finally rolled around boy did the skies light up with fireworks all over the place! It was just brilliant. The snow had finally stopped falling, it was -2 degrees and mum and I danced in the snow welcoming in the new year. After some hard work building an epic snowman earlier in the evening Dan and Dad retired to bed early.

We drove to Seekirchen am Wallersee which is a town on a lake about 20 minutes from where we ...

I arrived in Salzburg in the evening and I lugged my backpack several streets to get to my hostel. My backpack gained weight it feels; it was definitely a challenge carrying it and my other bag all the way there. I said hi to my room mates, none of whom had backpacks, and did very little for the rest of the night.

I set out ...

Eibensee-Ellmausteunrundweg

... we. After a bitt of walking round in circles we eventually found the right path by a bench. And we were off! We kept crossing paths with the girls all day! After a longish walk we found lake Ebrnsee which was lovely. Lots of naked Germans/Austrians though- sunbathing and swimming. We stayed for quite a while then backtracked a bit and went up a peak- Marienkopfl. That was lovely. 1014m high and great views. In retrospect at this point we should have gone back the way we came- ...
