With an early start from Munich, we boarded a train to Salzburg, Austria. Although it was drizzling, we were able to make the most of the day and explore this beautiful city. With the train station being a few miles from the heart of the city, we were able to stroll along the Salzach River and explore many of the local vendors along the river.

... we. After a bitt of walking round in circles we eventually found the right path by a bench. And we were off! We kept crossing paths with the girls all day! After a longish walk we found lake Ebrnsee which was lovely. Lots of naked Germans/Austrians though- sunbathing and swimming. We stayed for quite a while then backtracked a bit and went up a peak- Marienkopfl. That was lovely. 1014m high and great views. ... to walk to every church/landmark (such as Mozarts Birth-House) on the map today to ensure we saw the whole city (every landmark on the side of the river with the castle). The only two things we saved for tomorrow were entering into the castle, and exploring the other side of the river.
