I'll know where I'm going instinctively.
Like a thief who must know every corner, every air duct, every hallway, every locked door, every personnel station, every inch of possible ground to be learned via online airport mapping systems.
This is how I will wake up and move myself onward.
From a drunk and Valium based slumber I will awake in Germany, a country which I have never visited nor ...
Again it seems to be an escape from the inevitable. But somehow I actually think it's way more than that.
Why do I think that? I'm sure you are wondering what special thing happened at the end of my last entry in the first world trip ...
It was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.

We arrived in Frankfurt to some more wet weather, and we headed to a hotel a few blocks away that we had seen online. It was in the middle of the red light district, but it was suitable and close to the train station. After we checked in, we found a phone to call Nadine and Flo. Nadine is a cousin of Chad's brother-in-law, and Flo is her boyfriend.
They met us at the train station in two separate cars and drove us back to their ...
... storm which forced our plane to keep circling for about an hour. The storm was so bad they even closed down the airport temporarily. We landed about an hour and a half late at 8:00 and I proceeded to my favorite Frankfurt airport hangout, a restaurant which has a smoking section, and I sat there blissfully unaware of the "****" that was headed my way. At 9:45 I started heading towards my gate, but once I reached the correct terminal, I caught ...

After walking around the park and going through the maze (out of interest, did u know that mazes were originally invented as a way of engagement between young people in post viking times? The maze was designed by the father. His daughter would stand in the middle and then eligable young men who wanted to marry her would have to go ...
... eating a stale sandwich. She threw my belongings in the boot of the car and instinctively rubbed the cold vigorously from my arms. I think she felt sorry for me. This made me smile. I wouldn't have felt sorry for me. Her apartment was impeccable, as was she. In fact she was gorgeous, and considering it was almost midnight and I had to be at the airport again in just under seven hours, the immense generosity and kindness was on the ...
Bad Homburg, Frankfurt, Germany scottwoz... in Switzerland and flowed through France, Germany, and The Netherlands on its 820 mile (1320 Km) trek to the North Sea. Overflowing with terraced vineyards, iridescent summer flowers, taverns, and a forest trail on the hills, Rüdesheim also was very charming in its own rights. One of the best activities in Rüdesheim was to get lost in the wine valley either on foot or by bike. From every distance, one could see the serpentine Rhine River flowing gently into the sunset ...
Frankfurt (am Main), Germany globetrekkerI've been in Frankfurt several times, mostly checking out the gift show in my capacity as a trade show geek in general, promoter of my frog line in particular. So I know the town a bit. But this time we merely pass through, in the middle of the night, right through the center ...
