      ... They were quite a bit older than me, but it was fine. And they lived in Longwy actually, but they offered to drive me to Rodange so I could get a train to Luxembourg city. It only took about 20 minutes, so close to France! It was a nice pleasant day and quite sunny too, surprisingly.       It might be small but you need to include this country/city in your next trip to Europe. It is fair to say that every ruler/leader since mid 900s has tried to fortify this country from invasion and attack, hence the intricate network of rock walls, trenches, towers, turrets and fortifications make exploring this city a unique adventure.       ... unexpected views. Despite raining the entire time in the country/city it still looked so beautiful, with massive cliffs and greenery, whilst from our hotel room in the Hilton Hotel we could see the forest covered in clouds!
