We are told that we need to walk from 2B were we are, to 2F and then take a shuttle to 2G. okay we walk for about 45 min and get to 2 F to catch the shuttle. ... originally dividing East and West Germany is still standing. It is quite confronting when you see it in reality. Even the windows of the people in the East had to be bricked up if they faced the west! And then, we were driven to meet with extended family in Schwulper. We had a wonderful lunch - German style with the obligatory schnitzel etc. etc. Attending this celebration was Uncle Hans (Opa's brother) and his wife Hannelore, Lydia (cousin) and Werner ...

All week we have talked about visiting the Medieval wonder of the 11th Century called "Celle" a retreat town for Royalty in the 12th Century. Some 50kilometres away, Celle was a major base for the English and some American Armed Forces who became attached to the charm and architectural wonders of this northern city. No doubt the many boutiques emerged as a result of the English Pound and the American dollar that flowed so freely ...
