Herzberg...just down the hill from Lonau is where Bernd grew up. We stopped at a castle there too.

We arrived back in Ingeln to have a Kale event at a favorite restaurant of Gabi's - that included friends from Lonau. Great food and beer -- of course.

... that's where we are right now. Nice hotel, real pillows, CNN, BBC. We feel like we're in heaven. What a great find. Delicious, candlelight dinner. Talked and laughed. After dinner I wanted a candy bar, of course. I thought I saw a staircase that went up to the highway where there wads gas station and Autogrill. You always hear about Bergen-Belsen the concentration camp for Jews, but you forgot it was a POW camp for mainly the Russians way before it ever became a concentration camp.
