... 2 hours to do 70 miles!! We eventually abandoned the original plan - which was drive to Passau and up trough the forests to Bayerisch, opting to come straight here via a mcdonalds in Pilsen (where the beer is made :)). Got to BE around 3:30/4pm, checked into our lovely pension and decided to drive up to Brennes (where we stayed last time) ...

There is a huge lake about 20 feet from the gate, a forest a quarter of a mile away, farm land and meadows and hills as far as you can see, and clouds more bright and vivid than anyone´s ever seen without sensory-enhancing drugs. A long boring road North
