... true downtown. Unfortunately we arrived just late enough that everything had closed for the evening so our walk through was a quick one before heading back to the hotel.

The weather cleared up nicely the next morning so we made our way back out and had a great time exploring the cobblestoned streets and little shops in the old town. Next it was through an ice tunnel with ice sculptures – yes, the tunnel was walls, floors, ceilings completely ice – and then up a moving walkway which had photos of the building of the ...

... assistant, naturally. On arrival to Lucerne we checked in to a lovely wee hotel food was a bit strange, worst tasting lettuce ever! Madeline being a vegetarian was luckily enough to get an omelette which was half cooked, a bit funny and really yuck, have had fun with her food situation lately. After dinner we tidied up and headed out on a pub crawl! This was a rather funny night, consisting of massive snowball fights started by Johnny our bus driver! Highlight ...
