Today we ticked off several more Cols on the Route. The highlight though has to have been the decision to deviate from the RdGA. We travelled up over the Col le Bonette. What a fantastic ride. On the way up we had our photos taken by “declicphoto.net” and we have downloaded them. At the top the road was closed by pushed up snow barricades, but with a little bit of manoeuvring we were able to ...

Now we're going out for a beer (or two). if i don't break both of my arms, neck or other important bones in my body one of these days, I'll update soon

... and family back in Canada a little less.

After soaking in all the fresh air and clean water and powder skiing we could in 10 days, (it was so nice to see the kids detached from electronic devices!), we headed home to Lyon and to our new flat, leaving the snow and a little Christmas magic behind us.
