... I had visions of me tumbling down the hill or toppling over the fence. I had to ask if anyone committed suicide from there as they could easily climb over the fence and there are no barriers to stop them. A bit of a ghoulish question but apparently people don't as it illegal. The Greeks must be very obedient.

I'm very happy with my choice of airline and the hotel too! It looks like a good start to my stay in Greece.

... in this modern museum, which is an architectural masterpiece. We were also able to tour the National Archeological Museum. It was amazing to see the actual mask of Agamemnon. I have seen it in so many history books.....then to be within 6 inches of it....just heaven. Dave put in a picture of Aphrodite fending off Pan. Giza is separated from Cairo by the Nile river but it all looks the same. Yellow-brown buildings, dust, smog, rubbish everywhere, traffic everywhere. We arrive at our hotel on the edge of the desert and it’s nice to escape the (organised) chaos outside. From our hotel we can see 3 pyramids, probably a 1000m away. What a sight! Watching the ...
... his very neatly designed house and the conversations were all over the place but i wouldn't have changed any of them!! We appreciated him letting us into his home and feeding us and filling us with stories and knowledge! We sang "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" for him to show how thankful we were! Then we headed back to the hotel to crash!! Time for bed!! What an AMAZING day!!
