Up at 5.30 & off to return the car at 7.00. Finally arrived at Gatwick airport at 7.30 & the plane left at 10.15 for Verona. Kathy took many photos in all directions from the top of the tower. Coming down from the tower ...

... four hours spent wandering around went quickly with the many stops we made. We found ourselves hungry and stopped near our hotel for dinner at a small restaurant for an okay dinner of spaghetti con vongole (spaghetti with clams) and risotto with shrimp. Not worth recommending but the waiters were friendly and humorous.

Back to our hotel about seven after a fun day of Vino in Verona.
