      ... peaceful as we were the only ones there as well. We eventually floated back downstream before sunset. We then drove to the top of a hill with a restaurant that overlooked a massive valley and got the most absolutely amazing view of the sunset. We had some beers and watched the sun go down and the sky turn pink and orange.       ... but like I said, we were in the center of all the tourists sites so it is a popular place for Americans to come and vacation. In addition, they mentioned that this was there peak season so they have a lot of people coming to vacation at this time. After what was a disappointing Super Bowl (I was going for the Broncos), we headed back to the hotel and decided to call it a night to wake up early for the next day. We were tired from the long travel day as well.

      ... acquainted with a giant locust that kept flinging itself into her head. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast and talked to the American couple managing the place and before we knew it we were off back into La Fortuna to be reunited with Aslak and to catch our bus back to San Jose without the girls.

      It was a jam packed weekend full of unreal experiences and a great way to see off two people I've come to regard as great friends. Hasta Luego girls.

      ... t leave the desk at all as otherwise there wouldn't be anyone in the shop. So come lunch I was starving! The Rich Coast girls along with Taylor, Tabby and Marilyn went out for ladies night tonight. This basically involves getting free drinks till 11 so we usually end up getting about 7 rounds in the space of 30 minutes. There was a lot of tequila as always!
