A well catered breakfast by the hosts saw us well fed for the few hours we had in Vareenna prior to heading off to Sondrio to drop the car off. Varenna is settled at the foot of Lake Como and wow what a fantastic view of the lake and mountains you get - it really is a beautiful town and we are now regretting the too short time we have here. It is now on our must do for the next time we visit Italy. A short walk along the ...
