      ... large number of sarees. I mean I had never seen that many sarees, that many clothes lying at one place.

      Once I got sarees for awfully cheap price, we went home. Then I rested there for sometime, before going to the bus stand to catch my bus to Udaipur.

      About Surat, I must say this. If anyone is planning to by sarees for ceremonies like weddings, Surat is the place to be. The length and breadth of the textile market there is as big as a small town....

      Spent a very short time in Vanesa, which is where Hirals dad is from. Since they are building a new house there...we were sent to do some interior decorating.       • We boarded this train from Surat to New Delhi - "Mumbai Bandra T-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Garib Rath Exp/12216".
      • There are better trains available at a higher cost. The disadvantage of Garibrath is you don't get blankets/pillows for free (You can pay Rs. 25 rent and take it though) and takes 4-8 hours more than the other trains. ...
