On arrival at the wonderful Kos Marina (if Carlsberg made marinas then they would probably be like this) we were met by the pilot boatman who escorted us to our berth, assisted us to tie up and greeted us like old friends. Then, to cap it all, we discovered that they are still charging the same price (20 euros) that they were in 2007 when we first sailed in here – remarkable.

... en Hotelbunkern um die Pools oder auf den zugehörigen Sonnenliegen am Strand herumliegen, so gibt es doch unzählige Auto- und Scooterverleiher, damit auch jeder von ihnen die Chance hat ein wenig Strandpendeln und einen hotelfremden Imbiß zu sich nehmen zu können. Mit dem Leihrad geht es die Küste entlang. Immer weiter, bis das Ende der Welt, genauer: der Straße erreicht ist.
Hier gibt es leider nur sehr wenige Schattenplätze an einer Imbißbude mit knatterndem Generator. Kein heimeliges Plätzchen, um die Aussicht zu genießen.

Oft lohnt sich das Warten - die Fischflossen, die ich nicht verzehren mochte werden von einer rotgetigerten gierig verschlungen und lockt die hungrige Konkurrenz herbei.
