Our aim today was to be at the entrance to Versailles at 9am when it opened. With our pre-purchased tickets we caught the train and the first omen for the day was when the train inspectors came to see us and said we hadn't validated our tickets. We had been told to do this for our trip the previous day on the other service line, but this morning we did not see any box to use so didn't think we had to. Luckily the inspector gave us a warning and said it was usually a $33 euro fine, ...
