Champs- Élysées there was a lot of sirens and police on motorbikes making way for a number of black cars to get through the traffic , obviously there was someone very important in one of the cars, we later learned it was the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkell, we couldn't see her due to the dark windows in the car but everyone certainly moved out of the way. After they had all passed we walked down the avenue of Champs-Élysées, it is 1.9 km long and 70 ...

Buns of steel here ...

Anyways on to most the important day: my birthday. I awoke to Mila moos putting her bottom on my face (after a few headbutts first) with a pooey nappy. Good morning mama and happy birthday! Peyton then woke and rang in to greet me and wish me a happy birthday with a lovely card. Leigh ...

Evan slept for 14 hours straight, while Brad and I managed a solid 10 or 11 ourselves. We ate breakfast at home and then took the RER to the 16th. We ended up getting off a stop too early, but the walk from Les Invalides was a nice one. We were so thankful to have reserved our tickets for the Tower last month because the ticket line was incredibly long. Our line was short and moved quickly through security and then into the first elevator. Evan said he ...
