... through the mall that was connected to the hotel and then across the street to the park. It was a bit boring so I headed back to the hotel. Before I got there, though, I ran into two of the other women that were on the tour. They were on there way to see Notre Dame and asked if I wanted to go with them. I quick emailed Steve and then we set out. We toured the church and then walked around the outside. We moved quickly because we had to ...

Oui, oui it is us we are here in Paris! Was actually surprised we made it, we had the flight from hell getting here! Guangzhou airport has a few deficiencies and the lack of airport gates are probably the most crazy. ... in mid afternoon. By then the place was really hopping and was much like Niagara's Grape and Wine event except for the layout over several inclined cobblestone streets and the many languages that could be heard. We sampled champagnes (Ardeth) and other wines (Rick) from various parts of France, including Borgogne, Beaujolais, and Alsace. Foods we tried were tartiflette (potatoes with bacon and cheese - reblochon in the ones we had), sausage on a bun, foie gras ...

... laughing. All night. ( I got my own back later. ) So we both had a red wine. At the cafe. Merlot... Good for skinned knees and damaged egos... Especially if drunk quickly . We even sat down to do it. Then we were off for a stroll around the Place D'Italie roundabout. Found a bank. Checked out the shops and restaurants. Very pretty place. Very busy roundabout and no lines on the road and they just fly into it ...
