Hotel Santoni Torbole Sul Garda

2 planes - 1 bus - 3 trains - 1 taxi later and we arrive in Bressanone. About 40 hrs of transit was well worth it... this place is adorable - its like walking around in a postcard. Have been snowboarding the past 3 days which was lots of fun - bussed up the mountain to Plose ski fields area... have added some pictures and will caption the pictures if we can.

At 2:48pm the train arrived in Bolzano/Bozen as indicated. Northern Italy is quite hilly with some great landscape for one's viewing enjoyment. I was quite surprised by the city of Bolzano. ... we headed west taking a pass from Canazei through to Bolzano. Ouur home for the night is in Tassulo in the south of Valle Di Non. You can see the alps in the distance. The valley is agricultural with thousands of fruit orchards and vineyards. We did a little sight seeing and walked up to the ancient sanctuary of San Romedio. Tomorrow we heaad off west again towards Lake Como. Not sure what we will see there... perhaps the odd celebrity!?

... mother who hadcalled and texted numerous times during the evening, and various other reasons,I didn't want this to even get to a good night kiss.  It may sound a bit mean, but not everyone vibes, and I justdidn't feel a strong attraction. Not that she isn't nice and pretty and intelligent but she's just not agirl for me.  I wasn't trying tolead her on, but sometimes its much easier to just play along then have to say,"Listen..." and hurt some feelings.

... a nice camping site just outside Bolzano. It is 4 stars, the best we had up to date, and it shows: Heated showers, baby facilities, etc. Not a hotel, but certainly an upgrade. Bolzano is already close to the Austrian border and everybody here says they are part of south Tirol and hence speak German too. Italians that speak German. Well, well. Tomorrow we will continue probably directly to the area of Salzburg and from there back home to Vienna, arriving on Thursday.
