      ... makes it almost impossible to throw out trash (there is a 4 page manual on how to throw out trash and you have to buy special bags that cost $25 francs for 5), but ensures that the public transportation and train system is amazing and always right on schedule - to the second.

      Also, the entire country closes on Sunday, which isn't very good when you arrive on a Sunday with no food - let's say I was a little hangry to say the least, but ...

      We arrived in Cernay (a small town near Mulhouse in France) around 11am and quickly picked our spot and set up camp. We waited 4 hours for the Caravane to arrive. A line of sponsors floats who throw items such as key rings, hats, bags, chips, water, cake, magnets into the crowd. We then waited another 2 hours for the riders to come through the town.
