      ... of course. Bronte happily danced around the tables, to the obvious amusement of the staff and other diners. We ordered beer and got an english/russian version of the menu. Meat and potatoes all round. Goulash for us, beef for me, veal for Jo. An enormous (the biggest I've seen) veal schnitzel for Bronte and about three chooks worth of crumbed chicken and chips for Flynn. Overall, we really enjoyed it.       ... time for a little history lesson, stopping off at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Being one of the earliest camps setup, it was full of harrowing stories during its various phases during the war and also after the war when the soviets used it for similar purposes. It was a tough day, but well worth the visit.

      Our maiden voyage to Hungary a year earlier had been a great success and it was then that we met Goulash for the first time, our 3 legged cat. Sonia and David have 2 similar side by side properties nestled in the Somogy County countryside. There are very few English speakers here, so if you need to borrow some milk from a neighbour it has to be done in Hungarian, which incidentally is one of the most difficult languages to learn.
