    ... and Elaine and David had not seen them for over twenty years, but by all accounts it was a very happy reunion.
    When Elaine and David returned we went to our respective rooms (we have adjoining staterooms on the tenth deck) and prepared ourselves for the Malaga Marathon. This is a tremendous spectator sport and highly recommend it to anyone on a cruise. Of course the name of the marathon will change depending on what port you are in, but the rules ...

    ... just brilliant.
    We then found our hotel and then proceeded to wander around the city center. We found
    some really nice bars including one where a Ska band were playing outside.



    Monday 22 June
    In the morning
    wandered around the town some more especially taking in Santemonte.
    The bus ride back
    took an alternative route which allowed us to see a lot more of the
    surrounding area.

    ... Apparently we took his table. He ordered a tapas that he then shared with all of us and the hour spent was quite fun...none of us could speak the language of the others but somehow we all understood what was being said or at least what was intended....I think!
    Also finally put my feet in Spain's Mediterranean, cold though.

    Our internal clocks are playing havoc on us, but hopefully tonight we'll sleep the sleep of babes! Of course after 15 years of decafanated drinks, Buzz decided to have 5 drinks with caffein yesterday, so no wonder he was up all night. I also had a high test cappuccino with dinner so the effect was the same for me.
