    ... has a beautiful beach and a good tourist trade, we did not bother to look any further.

    Lovely drive and we crossed the bridge that links Spain and Portugal at 14:43, that was windy enough for the crossing of that bridge it was gusting 30knots and concentration is essential. If you slow down though and forget about the queue held up behind, you will be safe.

    ... sunny. Siesta today as was really hot!!! Went for swim in dumping waves... Brought back half the beach with me but felt lovely. Lovely dinner out... The lady was lovely and so surprised when we said we were from NZ. She went to tell her husband behind the bar and when she came back she said that he had said that NZ was by Sth America. She had thought it was by Australia..... So guess she got it right. Heading off back to Spain tomorrow .... Few hours in Faro then bus to ...

    Setting off from Estoril following our GPS ( Australian man's voice) we then went over Lisbons suspension bridge heading to the Algarve. As we headed south there were lots barren dry lands....bit like Australia actually. Almost expected the odd Kangaroo to appear. Very little grown it was so dry ... Then we went further and lots olive orchards, orange trees,and some animal farms. A very quick trip along the motorway .... Great roads and easy to get somewhere fast. Listening ...

    ... is part of the border of Spain and Portugal. Unfortunately the wind was on the nose therefore no sail.

    We got the to marina at Ayamonte and discovered it to be quite silted up therefore not enough depth for us to stay in at low water. So we filled our water tanks and then proceeded to anchor just outside the marina.
