We were told that Cabo San Lucas, Baha California Sur, was about 2 ½ hours away. We were getting really excited because the drive would be a piece of cake in comparison to the drive we had driven the past 2 days. We were almost at our 1st adventure spot we planned to feature on the website www.adventurestodo.com and we were happy that we made it. On Sunday, January 13th we reached Cabo San Lucas at about 2:30pm and started looking for a hotel. We found Hotel Santa Fe http://www.hotelsantafelo...

... dolphin, Andy, is a playful Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin.
Between kisses, hugs and swimming Andy keeps us entertained for about an hour. I cannot believe how smooth their skin is. It’s no wonder that they can swim so effortlessly.
After changing, I start talking to one of the workers. It’s here that I find out that these dolphins were born in captivity and their only ...

... and musicians. It'd be fun to catch them performing but I think it's just a spontaneous thing, no announcements.
That was the best $3 beer and $8 margarita value we'll ever find... and we WILL be back. I wonder if they always serve complimentary ceviche and beers for the road???
Next off to Playa Los Cerritos which can see from the roof top...
... and his wife met, etc. He showed us a bag of haiba (crab) and then a bag of 'caracol’, (conch, mystery solved) which he then cut up and served for us to try. Very chewy at first, with the flavor coming out once chewed a bit. I wasn’t too crazy about it but glad to try it.
On to San Pedro where we ordered our carnitas to go… unloaded car, heated up carnitas and to bed by 9pm. Whew…vacacion de vacacion is draining.
woohoo… Paul coined thes few days, 'vacacion del vacacion'. We drove south hoping to stay in San Jose del Cabo if it worked out. Stopped in the towns of Santiago and Miraflores on the way and took pictures of the sights in these two rural towns. We agreed that either place would be great for an extended stay to see life in a farming community. Both have water access and concentrated areas of palm trees and agriculture.
Then on to San Jose...
... arrived so we hung out around one boat, watched the fish being cleaned, prepped for resale. And shared a beer with the last couple of beers with the fishermen.
And yeah, we let Tanka spook the pelicans one time. And enjoyed watching the waves crash in... this surf is for serious surfers and boating experts.
... coconut before and I really liked the meat of it...the juice was alright...but the solid part was good with hot sauce! then we went back to the hotel and hung out for awhile before dinner and our crazy drinks! That waiter we had was hilarious! Then ma, chels, and I went to the Red Bar. It was alright, but the best part of the night was seeing the cows on the way home...mom was concerned that there was a cow in the street...it was hilarious!
Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico phillipsb1... guy I am, I figured I'd give it a try anyway. It wasn't so bad. I would recommend it to anyone with any kind of hiking experience. Once you got into the rocks, it was like being on a different planet. The rock formations just look like nothing I have ever seen. Once on the other side it opens up to a beautiful beach. This beach has water on both sides and if ...
