Back in those days there were celebrations for days after someone graduated.....your thesis had to be presented to around 20 professors and if you answered one question wrong you failed. Getting my degree was a bit easier than that. After all that culture we went out and sampled the night life. We got back in at 7am.....good night out!

... not do it justice. We saw some Burrow Owls, which apparently are the only owls to come out during the day. Their nests are in the ground and they share them with rodents. The rodents sleep during the day, when the owls are out and they swap over at night. It was fantastic to see them.

After the university, I visited a big park called Parque Sarmiento and the residential area nearby. The residential area, with mid-rise condos and yellow cabs outside, reminded me a lot of NYC. There, I also found a farmers market, where I made friends with a fruit vendor lady, took pictures of her and received 2 tangerines as a gift.

Einfach mal nach Westen
... das Wetter diesen Sommer verrueckt gespielt hat, sprich jeden Tag regen in der ganzen Region, sind diese Inseln ueberflutet. So sind wir dann halt in die Badi gegangen, inkl. medizinischem Check, ob wir denn auch Fusspilz- und Laeusefrei sind. Kein Scherz. Aber eigetnlich eine gute Sache. Nach zwei Naechten sind wir weitergefahren.
