A day on the beach!
What a beautiful day. A few clouds but warm and sunny. We went and sat on the beach next to the sand dunes and relaxed and read a little. Had a snack lunch at the beach bar and then back for some more relaxation. We had a short walk along the beach to the river to see the marina from the other side. A great day doing ...
Beach walking
... little train along the coast. It took us to Ponta da Piedade where there are fantastic cliffs that have been eroded by the sea to form stacks, caves and holes. We walked along the cliff top and then climbed down the steps almost to the water's edge. Here the swell crashed on the rocks and in and out of caves. The view to Alvor was clear today. Up to the hills
