Next on the must-see list of Italy was Venice. For pure wow factor alone, this may be one of my all time favorite cities. We all slept well last night. We decided to give Mum a chance to catch her breath and to have a pretty lazy day, so after a leisurely breakfast, we spent the morning investigating the local area - again, so much to see right on our doorstep.
