    ... go to the loo, so we looked for a restaurant but of course nothing was open that early. We were directed to a WC and it cost €1.50 (nearly $2.00) but that was irrelevant at that stage.     We took the ride into our hotel which was situated really close to st marks square, which is like the center of Venice. After checking in and a quick shower and change of clothes, we were ready to go exploring.

    ... that wasn't exactly the the name of it but we sure were in Nonna's house. The little 80 year old woman literally did everything, she took our orders and then proceeded to go out the back cook the food and serve it to us. Ill have to give it to her she did a pretty good job too. My lasagne was an authentic home cooked meal and was ridiculously fresh and tasty and the wine we drank washed it down quite well.
