After I arrived at Narita International Airport at 23:00, I stayed overnight in a couch of the airport. On the next day, I headed for Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. The temple is famous and popular among Japanese and I was eager to go some day. When I arrived at the temple, there were only few visitors in the temple. ... us and 60 odd other travelers from Narita to Haneda. It wasn't just our flight that got this detour. It's important to maintain a little perspective. It's easy to be annoyed by this or even put out. It's just as easy to write this off as"First World Problems." But watching the children who are being dragged around the airport by their parents during this diversion, I am reminded that this is just another adventure. Hopefully we get to see a little of Tokyo by night on this ...

... in the teen center 6:00-8:00. The first hour there were no kids so I just sat at the window and watched as we sailed away. Pretty nice! As the time passed a few teens came. Usually when there are no scheduled activities the kids will just play foosball or ice hockey, or wii on the big screen. From 8:00-10:00 pm I was scheduled to finish the night in the with Shockwaves and the Pelicans. It was quite a shock going from a very quiet room to a noisy room with about 40 ...

... and did not have time to travel to Narita town centre (the Simons were a bit more adventurous and took the shuttle to Narita).
