... that just went up and up and up! Such incredible 360 view of Frankfurt though- totally worth it and great photos! We went inside the Cathedral itself too which was beautiful and were able to light candles together :) Beate took us out for hot drinks and then as it gets dark quite early here we took the train home again. Wow where to start... So I haven't blogged since the second leg of our flight. I found the second flight a lot better. Even though it was 12.5 hours long and I was unable to get much sleep, I didn't feel I needed to as it was light outside. I managed to watch a few movies and a whole series which was great. Made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Upon checking in, there was an argument about the baggage and having to pay. Frau refused to leave that desk until it was sorter out and spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with EF. It was a mistake on their end and ...

Today I went out to the city center with Navid and his hallmates Katya and Ana. We went to a Marc LaGrange art gallery (very nice) and to the mall to see the whole city from the lookout platform. I also visited St. Nicholas's and St. Bartholomew's churches and the TV tower at ...
