    ... items of historical interest, including the beautiful armour worn by the samurai and castle lords. The samurai armour is a work of art, with beautifully woven, colourful designs, topped off with elaborate and detailed helmets. Happily, we were allowed to photograph them, which is often not permitted. And lot of narrow stairs, but well worth the effort.

    ... at a station called Kawato. We were not looking forward to this trip so much, as we were a little bit worried that we would miss Kawato. However much to our surprise and delight, we were met by Kento Hara and his lovely wife, Giovanna, when we got off the bus at Izumo.
