We waited in line at the port, dock number 4 and bought cheap tickets for a one hour boat ride. We really enjoyed this and oohed and aahhhed at how lovely it all was.

The obligatory ice-cream stop after the boat ride before we headed back to the hotel, stopping on the way at a K.Mart kind of store to buy me some swimming goggles, with my bright idea of swimming some laps in the big hotel pool.

These were his ideas which he wrote down on flying machines, catapults, rapid-fire cannons, mechanical lions and robotic solders. Very interesting! I had no idea he came up with all of that and in the 1500's! There was also a section on the Last Supper ...

Today we made the journey into the centre of Milan once more for our final full day. It was going to be raining all day today in Milan so we purchased an umbrella, snapped a few photos of the Duomo in the dark and got over it! Haha this was our only day of bad weather for our entire trip so we can't complain! We started with scrambled eggs for breakfast at a high ride restaurant that looked over the Duomo. After enjoying the view we took a look around the ...
