Duomo, risotto, and too much walking

A travel blog entry by jojorockstar

Milan is a complex city, slightly more user-friendly than Rome. I think there is more to see and it needs to be given a chance, but I've got to admit, today was the first day I was a bit disappointed. While I had a good bit of research, our timing wasn't great.

There was a castle near a park that held something by DaVinci. It was closing …

So Far, So Good

A travel blog entry by jayne2008

Milan has been a pleasant change from Paris. I don't feel as paranoid as I did in the City of Lights and Lots of Poor People, so I am enjoying myself more. It's pleasingly tout-free. Anyway about 11am we were picked up by our next driver who took us in a Mercedes minibus to Milan Railway station. Boy was the station busy! We arrived with a good hour to spare and John had ...

24 Hours in Milan

A travel blog entry by laurenursaki

We had a wonderful flight with Delta! Kelly and I had our own row and were served dinner, snacks, breakfast & even some cheap vino while spending the hours watching free movies on our personal TVs and snoozing with complimentary eye pillows and ear plugs. Our flight touched down at 7:45am, 6 hours past EST. The trip from Malpensa airport into Milan was not quite as smooth. We guessed our way onto the Malpensa Express and green line metro - somehow we ended up in the area we ...
