      ... 8217;s chair in it! I was expecting to do the formal paperwork and then try to negotiate an appointment later next week, but they want to look at it now. Great.

      So I sit in the chair & she, the dentist now I guess, asks if I have any pain. I say, no, but a filling has fallen out. She asks where & I point.

      ... s, crazy parking (we never parked on a corner or double parked so we are clearly not locals!) snowy mountain roads and everything in between. I must admit, I was relieved to sign it back in. We have checked in at an Airport hotel tonight to save us having to drive through the "traffico intenso" tomorrow morning.       ... at a local restaurant recommended by our host Walter.

      In the morning, its another bright sunny day (got to keep our good weather streak going) as we prepare to head west to Heathrow, then on to Vancouver & finally the last hop over to the island.

      Its been a fabulous trip, we both agree we wouldn't have changed a thing. We've been very fortunate to have met so many great people & enjoyed some great experiences & places.

      ... and graffiti covers much of buildings surfaces. There are many gentlemen in the train station asking if they can help us. I don't trust them. We walk outside to try a taxi for the rental car place and a driver tells us it will be 60 euro! We walk a few blocks from the train station to catch a cab. Hopefully it will be cheaper. We find one and he speaks very little English. They drive like maniacs ...
