... The Older church is no longer used but well maintained. It has exposed original mosaic flooring in places and frescos cove parts of the walls,. Some of these are in fairly good condition. There is a large wooden cross on one wall with somewhere below it where the locals can light a candle. It turns out that this is the Baptistry of the Newer church. ... day was dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our server Matio took very good care of us. All courses were delicious but it was the little extras that made it memorable. An amuse bouche of steak tartar, limoncello, and a bite of stinky (in a good way) goat cheese. Matio told us of the farmer from the hills who comes to town on his donkey cart with his selection of cheeses. Not something we could get in the ...

... Myrtle from Ohio loudly announces "Oh look Peter! They' built a Burger King across the street...!" ..we move on as Myrtle & Peter waddle toward their fast food destination.

After doing our cultural bit, we decide to head back to the suburbs as we need to check into the usual we get lost. We're getting very good at this. Out comes Google Maps on Grant's phone and we eventually get back on track. milan's ...
