    ... then you're in the wrong place. The shops are gleaming, with suited gentlemen waiting to open (and guard?) the door. Inside, the staff seem to outnumber the customers by about 4 to 1. Outside, we pass many shiny black Mercedes sedans with well dressed drivers awaiting the return of their passengers. Clearly another world to which we don't (and don't really want to) belong.......

    In the evening we enjoy our last dinner in Italy---a Milanese specialty "risotto ...

    Monday morning at 8a is our wake up call on the train. We are an hour and a half from Milano Centrale station. They bring us a light breakfast of a sweet roll and a bread roll, coffee and box orange juice that Nick says isn't very good :(. We pack and change and are off on our first day in Italy!
